2024 Edgartown Village Market Guidelines

  • 1) All products for sale must be grown, produced, or hand-made on Martha’s Vineyard.

  • 2) The resale of any wholesale goods purchased elsewhere is prohibited.

  • 3) You may only sell another vendor’s goods at your table or booth if you applied as a shared table or received approval from market managers.

  • 4) All food vendors must comply with all Board of Health standards and certification.

  • 5) All vendors must sign and return the Vendor Liability form prior to the first market of the season.

  • 6) Vendor fees for the season must be paid in full via digital invoice or check made out to the Edgartown Board of Trade, noted ‘The Edgartown Village Market’ prior to the first market of the season, unless a payment schedule was agreed upon on an individual basis. There are no refunds.

  • 7) Vendors are required to be on site no later than 9:00 AM and must be fully set up by 9:45 AM.

  • 8) Vendors are required to stay for the entire market day.

  • 9) Vendors are responsible for taking down their set-up and disposing of their own garbage

  • 10) If a vendor is unable to participate in a market they have committed to, the vendor must notify the Market Manager as soon as possible. No refunds will be granted for unattended market dates.

  • 11) In the event of inclement weather, the show will take place in the basement of the Old Whaling Church. The Market Manager will send out an email detailing parking and setup instructions in this alternate location by 6AM day of market.

  • 12) Acceptance for the 2024 season does not necessitate acceptance for any future seasons.

  • 13) Market manager retains the right to dismiss vendors if the guidelines are not adhered to.
